This study draws on information assembled as part of the Michigan Metropolitan Migration Project. A short description of the goals and methods of that project are included in the chapter. As an illustration of the analyses made possible with this database, an analysis of population trends for areas in Canada is given. Results report observed population sizes for a variety of areas in Canada both geographically and economically defined. Projected changes in population as well as the components of projected changes are also reported.
