Rich Gonzalez (PI), George Alter, and Ivo Dinov received an NSF award intended to establish ‘spokes’ to advance big data applications. Their spoke – the Advanced Computational Neuroscience Network (ACNN) – will “design, pilot and support powerful neuro-scientific computational resources for high-throughput, collaborative, and service-oriented data aggregation, processing and open-reproducible science.” The goal of the ACNN is to foster new interdisciplinary and cross-organizational collaborations in the study of neuroscience.
