Some recent research found evidence that regular physical activity might reduce the risk of cognitive decline, including Alzheimer’s, in healthy older adults. But Bruno Giordani says the research is still ongoing and questions remain. “As of yet, we don’t know the exact amount of exercise…that is enough or too much. We still have much research to do. However, we do know that in moderation, all of those activities [exercise, brain activities, eating well, and staying social] are key.”
