Ren Farley’s recent article in [Contexts](http://contexts.org/articles/summer-2011/the-waning-of-american-apartheid/) is the subject of a story in the January/February 2012 issue of the Utne Reader. The story reiterates historical factors in racial residential segregation and Farley’s findings on changes in attitudes among whites and blacks about living in integrated neighborhoods.
