Elizabeth Armstrong and Laura Hamilton won the 2015 Distinguished Scholarly Book Award from the American Sociological Association for *Paying for the Party: How College Maintains Inequality* (Harvard University Press, 2013). The award is presented annually for the best single book authored by an ASA member in the two calendar years preceding the award year.
