Axinn, Barber, and Thornton say unwanted pregnancies hard on resulting children

According to William Axinn, Jennifer Barber, and Arland Thornton, adults whose births were unplanned and unwanted tend to have less self-esteem than their counterparts. Analyzing data from surveys conducted over 23 years with more than 800 married women, the researchers found negative long-term consequences for the adult children resulting from pregnancies their mothers termed unwanted.
