This study seeks to identify and analyze irregularities in electricity supply by drawing upon a historical archive of raw nighttime satellite imagery over India captured over nearly 8,000 nights spanning 1993-2014. The results will then be overlaid with a poverty map to identify the correlation between poverty and power cuts.
