Project goal: To foster comparative analysis related to population aging based on recent national surveys in Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. The primary mechanism is a workshop in Bangkok in February or March 2013 to enable the key researchers involved in the surveys to compare, harmonize, and interpret their results. This activity would be difficult to fund through NSF or NIH both because of its modest scale and the short lead time for the activity.
