The Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) will be responsible under the grant ?Web Portal for Social Science Methods Education? for designing the features and details of a user interface for a web portal. Personnel at ICPSR will interface with Michelle Dion, McMaster University, to develop the user interface, develop protocols for uploading content, handle interface repairs and debugs, and be available to the grant team should additional development and/or changes be required to the ICPSR-based web interface. ICPSR will be responsible for freeing 7% of one Web Designer?s time (150 hours) to provide this web portal and programming assistance.

Additionally, ICPSR will make available its director, Dr. William Jacoby, to attend and/or present web interface workshop modules at the 2010 American Political Science Association (APSA) Teaching and Learning Conference (TLC) in Philadelphia, PA; the 2010 APSA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC; and the 2011 APSA TLC, location TBD.
