The BioSocial Methods Collaborative (BSMC) will perform statistical modeling to develop a method to analyze choice data of olfaction stimuli in collaboration with Procter & Gamble (P&G). The focus of the modeling will use utility-based choice models that take into account unique properties of olfaction, including psychometric properties such as sensitivity and dynamic range. We will work with synthetic data with known properties to demonstrate the ability of the model to uncover known underlying structure.
