This conference represents the beginnings of a future course for evidence-based interventions
and policy to effectively reduce health disparity and build healthy Pacific Islander communities.
As a leader to improve the health of the people of California through health promotion, wellness
education and disease prevention programs, your generous support will help create vital
educational and partnership building opportunities among Pacific Islander communities
throughout California, as well as empower participants to utilize the evidence-based results from
the Pacific Islander Health Study to eliminate health disparities and achieve health equity in their
local community.
The conference expects to bring together 200 community stakeholders, advocates, policy
makers, philanthropic leaders, researchers and students from across the country and U.S.
