Under this subcontract, Lupia and staff at the University of Michigan will collaborate with Aldrich and his project team at Duke University to organize the EITM alumni conference, which will be held in conjunction with the American Political Science Association?s annual conference in New Orleans, LA, August 30 through September 2, 2012.

Funds to cover the cost of personnel support and fringe benefits at the University of Michigan for this effort are requested as a subcontract. U-M staff will be coordinating the alumni conference, providing onsite logistical support while at the conference, and web support before and after to assist in publicizing the conference and later disseminating the conference materials. These expenses are included in a line item budget from the University of Michigan.
