Nancy McGovern will provide off site version of the ICPSR Digital Preservation Management workshop upon request for host organizations. We prepare a notebook of materials for each workshop, including providing a sample notebook and electronic copies of files for the host to use to make copies for participants. We sometimes tailor the workshops to a particular host by incorporating examples and policy documents they provide and by updating materials to additional relevant examples for them, adjusting the schedule for special sessions, and/or providing a public presentation while we are on site for the workshop

Host organizations are charged a fee and cover travel expenses ? either covered directly or reimbursed, create copies of the notebooks, determine the participants to invite, handle local arrangements, provide a workshop room and lunch/break space, laptop and projector, and room setup support (square or rectangular tables in a classroom formation, etc.). In addition to workshop materials for the notebooks, we provide logistical information for them to use to inform participants about preparation (homework) and workshop content, access to the online tutorial, preparation (updates and tailored adjustments, etc.) and deliver the workshop. There might be 1, 2 or more instructors (usually not more than 4) depending on their requests.
