The Youth Policy Lab at the University of Michigan and The Detroit Partnership for Education Equity and Research (Detroit PEER) at the Wayne State University College of Education are submitting a proposal to the Detroit Regional Chamber Foundation to conduct an impact analysis of the Detroit Area Talent Fund (DATF), a new program launched in 2023 that provides emergency financial assistance to Detroit-area college students facing urgent financial difficulties. The Detroit Regional Chamber Foundation is seeking partners to evaluate the impact of the DATF program on students educational achievement, economic stability, and overall well-being. This proposal would cover YPLs activities on the research project from 5/1/2025-12/31/2026.
