An agreement between the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) and the Regents of the University of Michigan, on behalf of its Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (?University of Michigan?) establishes data archiving support services for the Office of Justice Programs (OJP). Through use of the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD), the University of Michigan agrees to provide support to OJP in managing, processing, archiving and disseminating OJP research and data, as well as other tasks specified within Section IV (Tasks and Responsibilities) of the agreement. In addition to BJS, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and National Institute of Justice (NIJ) will receive data archiving services through this agreement.
