The one-year budget includes data curation services for the above datasets. Archiving the data will include producing coherent, user-friendly electronic files that are cleaned, efficiently arranged, and standardized in different formats (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Stata, R and ASCII) along with associated documentation (e.g., codebook, user guides, frequencies) available to the research community through the DSDR and ICPSR websites. Restricted data files will be made available exclusively through the established ICPSR Virtual Data Enclave (VDE). All data will be preserved for historical purposes.
