This subcontract will cover the work involved in analyzing data from the National Child Development Study (NCDS) from the UK. The proposed subcontract will cover the costs of 41% of Dr. Sharon Simonton?s annual salary as a Research Investigator at the Center for the Analysis of Pathways from Childhood to Adulthood (CAPCA, Research Center for Group Dynamics, Institute for Social Research) to analyze data from the NCDS. Simonton will collaborate with project staff working on the other six data sets, under the direction of PI Duncan, to address common theoretical and empirical questions across the data sets, plan specific analyses, carry them out, interpret the results, and assist in preparing a final manuscript for publication in an edited volume commissioned by the Russell Sage Foundation.
