The Youth Policy Lab and the Office of Early Childhood at MiLEAP have agreed to create a new fellowship position to strengthen access, affordability, and quality within Michigans early childhood education system. This new fellowship will support the States efforts to expand PreK for all students in Michigan and help to establish a comprehensive early childhood data collection system. In addition, they will build evidence-based recommendations for the state to move toward a coordinated early childhood enrollment system, and identify opportunities to improve the alignment of commonly used PreK and kindergarten curricula.
