Krysan, Couper, Farley and Forman receive ASA award for AJS article

Maria Krysan, Mick Couper, Ren Farley and Tyrone Forman have received the Oliver Cromwell Cox Award from [ASA’s Racial and Ethnic Minorities Section](http://www2.asanet.org/sectionrem/awards.html). The award, which recognizes the best research article in the sociological study of race and ethnicity during the prior 3 years, is for their 2009 *AJS* article [“Does Race Matter in Neighborhood Preferences?”](http://www.psc.isr.umich.edu/pubs/abs/6081) The article reports on an innovative experiment that tests the relative color-blindness of neighborhood preferences and analyzes the psychosocial factors associated with these preferences.
