PSC Director Pamela Smock has been selected by the Board of Directors of the Population Association of America (PAA) to serve as the next Editor of PAA’s flagship journal, [*Demography*](http://www.populationassociation.org/publications/demography/). Her three-year term as Editor begins on May 1, 2013. More than a dozen other PSC researchers have agreed to serve as Deputy Editors during her term.
