The University of Michigan will collaborate with Cornell University on producing quarterly newsletters for the NSF-Census Research Network Coordination Office. NCRN is seeking a way to show the impact of the program on its graduate students. Dory will study and explore the extensive network of graduate students who have participated in NCRN, and begin to reach out to these former NCRN students to help measure the impact the program has had on their lives and careers. Part of Dory?s effort will go into identifying and locating students from the NCRN?s partner institutions (or ?nodes?) around the country, with the help of PIs at those nodes. The rest of her effort will involve crafting stories and helping produce the newsletters (editing, design, etc.).
